The first superstar of the Indian cricket, who led the team to the first-ever world cup win for India in 1983 took up golfing post-retirement in 1994 and is today a Senior golfer in the Indian circuit.

The former Indian captain proved his worth when he finished fifth in the IGU All India Senior golf Championship and qualified for the Asia-Pacific Senior Championship.


Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, better known as the ''god of cricket'', equally loves the game of golf like he loves cricket.

The master blaster has been keen to learn golf post his retirement and is associated with the Kensville golf club in Ahmedabad.

In September last year, Sachin had seen playing at the golf at South Mumbai's Willingdon Golf Course and was very thrilled after his first Eagle at the venue and posted his video on Twitter as well.

MS Dhoni 

Captain Cool a.k.a, MS Dhoni, has been away from cricket since India’s World Cup exit in a semi-final defeat against New Zealand at Old Trafford in July last year.

Dhoni, who hasn't been seen on cricket pitch since World Cup 2019, served with the Indian Army for a while and then shifted his attention to playing golf in the USA, and FOI, the Metuchen Golf and Country Club made Dhoni an honorary member, where he played his first tournament on September 13, 2019.


Glenn Maxwell

The cricketer who is better known for his big hits in cricket carries his style of playing the sport forward into the golf.

The high voltage player from Australia surprised his critics when he won the long-drive contest at the World corporate golf challenge.


Ricky Ponting

One of the most successful captains in world cricket, Ponting, is a virtual golfing hobbyist.

Ponting played with some excellent cricketer-golfers such as Greg Blewett, who represented the South Australian amateur team after his first-class cricket career ended.


Ajit Agarkar

The former paceman of the Indian cricket team made headlines when he represented India at the world corporate golf challenge in 2016.

And you won't believe that the former fast-bowler not just played that event but also emerges as the winner of the India Finals of BMR World Corporate Golf Challenge held at the Prestige Golfshire in Bengaluru.


Kevin Pietersen

The switch-hitter from England loves the game of golf.

Ian Botham

This cricketing legend from New Zealand is a golfer too. Nicknamed as beefy, Ian started playing golf at a very young age. The 'driving' and 'short game' are his favorites and Jack Nicklaus his favorite player.

Ian is actively involved in golf and played the sport all over the world, sometimes for a charity match with PGA players, and sometimes for his liking.
