Golf Wedges

A typical wedge will last 75 rounds before a significant decline in performance. An average golfer who plays regularly changes their Wedges every 18 to 24 months.

There are three main types of wedges that you must carry in your bag, a pitching, sand and lob wedge.

Bounce is the angle formed by the leading edge of the wedge, the ground and the lowest point of the sole when the shaft is perfectly vertical. When you hit the ball, the bounce is the part of the wedge that hits and moves through the ground or bounces off. It is what allows you to make good contact, control, and spin on your wedge shots.

The most common wedges used around the green are 52-56 degrees. You may require a different lofted wedge based on your ball lie and shot you are trying to hit.

K grind is the most forgiving wedge for all shots and is great for mid-high handicappers. K Grind is currently only available in Titleist Vokey Wedges.
