Tvesa Malik top-Indian at tied-9th, Aditi finishes tied-13th at Saudi Ladies International

Indian golfers Tvesa Malik and Aditi Ashok ended their impressive run at the Saudi Ladies International on a positive note.

Tvesa Malik shot another solid 4-under 68 in the final round to finish her campaign at tied-9thposition.

On the other hand, Aditi Ashok also shot 4-under 68 to finish just one shot off her fellow Tvesa to secure tied-13th position.

Tvesa, who began her journey with a weak 2-over 74, improved her game in the later rounds and finished with a 10-under 278 total. She smashed 18 birdies and one eagle against ten bogeys in her four-day campaign at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club, Saudi Arabia.

The 2020 Tokyo Olympian Aditi Ashok scored 9-under 279 in four days with the help of 15 birdies against five bogeys and one double-bogey to finish at a creditable tied-13th spot.

World No.7 Lydia Ko grabbed the Saudi Ladies International title after carding a sensational 7-under 65 in the final round.

New Zealand's Ko made no mistakes on the fourth and final day, shooting a bogey-free round to win the Ladies European Tour for the sixth time.

Atthaya Thitikul of Thailand fired 6-under 66 in the fourth round to claim solo second with a four days total of 18-under 270.

The third Indian at the event, Diksha Dagar, made an early exit from the event after shooting back-to-back 74s in the first two rounds.
