Tvesa Malik, Astha Madan aim for better show at Jabra Ladies Open

The Indian duo of Tvesa Malik and Astha Madan will hope for a better showing in the Jabra Ladies Open starting on Thursday after having a decent finish at last week's Italian Open.

Tvesa Malik, who ended the Italian Open at tied-10th position is all charged up and ready to make a positive mark in this week’s tournament.

The ten-time winner on the WPGT, finished T-23rd in Investec Women's South Africa Open and T-10 at the Italian Open, is lying 14th on the LET Order of Merit.

A solid finish at the Italian Open was Malik's first Top-10 of this season. Her career-best finish at LET is T-6 at Hero Indian Open in 2019.

Astha, who joined Tvesa last week at the Ladies European Tour, had an adverse event as she missed the cut after carding 13-over in two rounds at the Italian Open.

She will tee off with Hannah Burke and Florentyna Parker. They are off in the first group in the morning.

Lucie Malchirand

After Lucie Malchirand's breathtaking win at the Italian Open, the Ladies European Tour moves on to Evian-les-Bains, France, for the Jabra Ladies Open at Evian Resort Golf Club.

The first edition of the Jabra Ladies Open took place in 2017. The three former champions - the French Isabelle Boineau and Astrid Vayson de Pradenne; and the Englishwoman Annabel Dimmock - are all present in the scope of this year's event.

The field includes some other big names like Christine Wolf, Marianne Skarpnord, Meghan MacLaren, Becky Morgan, Jenny Haglund, and European Solheim Cup star Caroline Hedwall.
