The Preview: ZOZO Championship 2021

The much-loved ZoZo Championship is back this year with lots of dramatic promises.

The event, which was postponed in 2020 due to the deadly Covid-19, is planned to begin on October 21st at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Chiba, Japan.

The inaugural edition was played in 2019, in which Tiger Woods emerged victorious by three shots to match Sam Snead for most PGA Tour titles (82).

Though Woods, a 15-time major champion, will not compete in this year's event because he is still recovering from his horrific accident that happened in February 2021.

The competition will feature some of the leading world golfers such as 2020 Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Xander Schauffele, Silver medalist C.T Pan, World No.3 Collin Morikawa, 3-Time PGA Tour champion Si Woo Kim, and 2021 Masters winner Hideki Matsuyama, to name a few.
