Gaganjeet Bhullar finishes 2nd in Qatar Masters

The calm and composed Gaganjeet Bhullar carded 2-under 69 in the final round to claim the second spot alongside South African Darren Fichardt and Italian Guido Migliozzi at the Qatar Masters.

Gaganjeet Bhullar holed a superb 20-footer for a birdie on the last hole but still finished tied second at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters here on Sunday.

With rounds of 67-73-68-69, the Kapurthala boy finished his campaign inside Top-2 with a total of 7-under 277 -2 at the European Tour’s prestigious event.

"I gave it my best shot and I will take positives from this week as I have a lot of events coming up," said Bhullar.

It's unreal," he said. "In my biggest dreams I couldn't imagine anything like this happening. It's probably the biggest putt of my career - amazing. It's so early in my career, only my second year on tour.

Rozner carded a splendid 67 to finish his campaign as a champion at 8-under with three players left at 7-under.
