Aditi Ashok signs off at tied-10, Pauline Roussin-Bouchard wins Skafto Open

The calm and composed Aditi Ashok carded a decent 2-under 69 in the final round to finish her Skafto Open campaign at a creditable tied-10th position on Sunday.

The top-ranked Indian female golfer ended with a total of 4-under 203 with rounds of 72,64,67 at the €220,000 prize money event.

Aditi made ten birdies against four bogeys and one double bogey in three rounds at the Skaftö Golf Club in Fiskebäckskil in Swden.

Pauline Roussin Bouchard, who was playing her second professional event, won the Skafto Open by one stroke.

Bouchard's breathtaking 10-under 60 in the second round provided her with the platform to clinch the title, and after carding 1-under 68 in the final round, she secured her maiden Ladies European Tour title.

Other Indians competing in the tournament include Vani Kapoor, Amandeep Drall, and Astha Madan.

Vani Kapoor, who was the best-placed Indian at 18th spot after the first round, shot even-par69 on Saturday and then a four-over 73 on Sunday to finish at tied-38th position.

The other two, Amandeep Drall and Astha Madan, were eliminated early from the event following a disappointing performance.
