The proficient Indian women golfers, Aditi Ashok, and Diksha Dagar secured top-10 finishes at the New South Wales Open, played at Dubbo Golf Club, Australia. 

Aditi Ashok


Aditi, who has three Ladies European Tour titles, claimed her 16th top-10 finish on the tour, with the help of 5-under 67 in the final round. The Bengaluru golfer, who begins her week with a 73, added 68-70-67 to finish tied-4th at 10-under 278 on Sunday.

Diksha Dagar


Diksha, who was enjoying a great run at the international level in the earlier events, continue her glorious form in the New South Wales Open as well, where she posted a 6-under 282 and finished her campaign at the tied-seventh position.

Now, she is all charged up to defend her South African Women’s Open title, which starts from 12 March 2020 in the WestLake Golf Club, Cape Town, South Africa. 

The duo Aditi and
Diksha, are currently the best-placed Indian Women golfers in the Rolex
Rankings, and also maintains their place in the list of top-60 golfers, who are
heading to play the Tokyo Olympics 2020 in July.

And their back-to-back solid performances on the foreign sole indicate that they can retain their place in the list till June 2020, which is when the Olympic teams will be finalized.

Amandeep Drall


Talking about WGAI, then it is Amandeep Drall, who is currently topping the order of merit list, has shown some great intent on the course and won the previous WGAI event (Leg 4) which was played at Bengaluru last month, and now she is eyeing to grab another title at the Women’s Pro Golf Tour, which begins from Wednesday. 

Ridhima Dilawari


Last year’s Order of Merit winner, Ridhima Dilawari, who has also won the first leg of this season as well, will also be seen on the Indian soil after a small gap. 

These golfers carry extreme spark in their game and prove with performance why we’d call them the shining stars of the Indian golf.

On the tournament front, Aditi, and Diksha, along with another talented golfer, Tvesa Malik maintain their focus on upcoming International challenges, whereas, Amandeep Drall, Ridhima Dilawari will continue to dominate on the national tours.
