Indian Golfers to watch out for in 2020

The year 2019 proves that Aadil could conquer the game if he adds a little dedication and confidence to his game. The young golfer from Chandigarh has shown great play on the Indian soil last year, where he secured 5 Top-10 finishes, but the real test rises ahead in the form of outside India at the European Tour.

Aadil Bedi, who took a share of ninth place in the PGTI’s final event of 2019 (The Tour Championship), finished second in the Emerging Player list with season’s earnings of Rs. 21,84,500 last year, and was placed 10th in the PGTI’s money list.

The emerging player grabs the eye of viewers when he becomes the youngest Golfer to represent India at the 2018 Asian Games, where he gave a great start to the Indian team that helped the team to reach the second spot after round 1. 

Aadil’s performance in recent years has helped him huge
praise in the golfing circles. So for him, the Sky is open, all he needs to
work on his game improvements and fitness because the player of his caliber can
only shine in every game.

Aman Raj

The year 2019 saw the rise of Aman Raj as well; the talented golfer overshadowed his opponents in tough situations and emerged as a true champion like a boss.

Aman has played 26 events combined (European Tour, Asian Tour, and PGTI) in the last season, in which he had 8 Top-10s finish, and claims to be the best golfer in the coming years if he continues to perform like that. He has a remarkable ability to tackle any obstacle on his way with positive intent.

From ranked 936 in 2018 to place 435 in 2019 in the OWGR, the Patna-based golfer shows that he can dominate the golf course if he remains consistent in the upcoming season and can become a big asset for Indian Golf. 

 Karandeep Kochhar

Karandeep Kochhar carried a different spark in his game and that’s the thing that makes him different from his competitors. With 6 Top-10 finishes in the last season, he proves that he can deliver good results with sharp golfing skills.

The Chandigarh golfer finished 902 in the 2018 OWGR, but he climbed big in the last season and finished 559 in the OWGR, courtesy of his 7 Top-10 finishes. His sharp skills and intelligence on the course gave him the platform where he can dominate every game if he remained consistent with his game. 

He had been demonstrated during the last season and
proved his mettle at the Indian soil. 

Kshitij Naveed Kaul

Kshitij Naveed Kaul, a star young golfer from Delhi,
established himself in the golf world in just two years after becoming a
professional. He has shown tremendous talent in the last season and somehow
assures the viewers that he can become a crucial golfer for India in the coming
years.

The talented golfer had 8 Top-10 finishes in his bag in
2019, which grabs a lot of attention, his best performances consist of when he
claimed the Pune Open Golf Championship title and finished 2nd in Jaipur Open;
his performances in the last season were very satisfying to boost his
confidence and also a good sign for the Indian golf.

2019 will remain a memorable year for the Nineteen-year-old Kshitij Naveed Kaul, in which he won the PGTI Emerging Player of the Year title with the season earnings of Rs. 29,65,420, the highest among the rookies. Kshitij ended his last season at a creditable sixth on the PGTI Order of Merit courtesy of a win and eight top-10s in the year.
