Gaganjeet Bhullar finishes T-72, Ryan Fox wins Khaimah Classic

Back-to-back two dreary rounds fainted Gaganjeet Bhullar’s chances to secure a place inside the top-10 at the Khaimah Classic.

Bhullar, who seemed comfortable after two rounds and was tied-14, finished tied-72nd after the final two rounds of 2-over 74s.

New Zealand golfer Ryan Fox continued his dominance on the final day as well, and with 3-under 69 in the fourth round, Fox claimed the Khaimah Classic title by five shots.

Fox received a magnificent $333,330 winner's share of the $2,000,000 money, in addition to his second DP World Tour victory.

In four days at the Al Hamra Golf Club, Fox posted 22-under 266 with the help of thirty birdies against eight bogeys.

With straight rounds of 6-under 66s, Englishman Ross Fisher ended his run at tied for second.

Bhullar, who recovered from COVID-19 some days back, was all confident to have a good show at the Khaimah Classic, but his final two rounds vanished his first two days of hard work.

The day’s best round belonged to Hurly Long of Germany, who carded 8-under 64 to end at tied-3rd alongside Pablo Larrazabal and Zander Lombard.
