PRODUCT SUMMARY

  • Seamless Transition From Cavity Back Irons
  • Player Friendly Sole Grinds
  • Aggressive Spin and Enhanced Control

Description
The new Mack Daddy CB Wedge is a cavity back wedge with improved forgiveness, control and tons of spin for greater consistency around the green. It was designed to remove guess work from your short game.

SEAMLESS TRANSITION

The deep cavity back, slightly larger head and thicker topline give you the comfort of an iron with the control of a wedge.

PLAYER FRIENDLY SOLE GRINDS

To improve uniformity, there are two sole grind options. Lower lofts with a full sole create easy, iron-like turf interaction. In mid and higher lofts, the redesigned W Grind improves bounce for more forgiveness out of bunkers and dense rough.

AGGRESSIVE SPIN AND ENHANCED CONTROL

For optimal grip and spin from all types of lies, every groove in the JAWS groove has an exact edge sharpness. Conventional grooves are present in lofts 46° through 52°, and full-face grooves are present in lofts 54° through 60°.

FAQs

Attribute Based FAQs
How Often Should I Change My Golf Wedges?
A typical wedge will last 75 rounds before a significant decline in performance. An average golfer who plays regularly changes their Wedges every 18 to 24 months.
What Wedges must I have in my bag?
There are three main types of wedges that you must carry in your bag, a pitching, sand and lob wedge.
What does the bounce mean on a golf wedge?
Bounce is the angle formed by the leading edge of the wedge, the ground and the lowest point of the sole when the shaft is perfectly vertical. When you hit the ball, the bounce is the part of the wedge that hits and moves through the ground or bounces off. It is what allows you to make good contact, control, and spin on your wedge shots.
What degree wedge should I use around the green?
The most common wedges used around the green are 52-56 degrees. You may require a different lofted wedge based on your ball lie and shot you are trying to hit.
What wedge grind is most forgiving?
K grind is the most forgiving wedge for all shots and is great for mid-high handicappers. K Grind is currently only available in Titleist Vokey Wedges.
