Callaway GBB Epic Fairway Wood

The Callaway Great Big Bertha Epic Fairway Wood features the same innovative crown and sole technologies as the driver range and has been designed to deliver a long, accurate and easy-to-launch ball flight that will transform your long game.

Callaway have used their innovative triaxial carbon composite material to enhance and deliver increased forgiveness, power and accuracy performance.

By using the multi-material construction crown design Callaway have been able to relocate the CG and raise the MOI by a massive 11% compared to the XR16 model. The Epic’s lightweight triaxial crown design weighs only 5.8g compared to a steel crown design which is 78% heavier, the lighter weight also contributes to the easy-to-launch design for improved carry.

Ball speeds across the whole face are incredibly high due to the refined Hyper Speed Face Cup. A thinner and more flexible rim on the inner of the face helps propel the ball off the face more efficiently at impact to give you improved distance.

Originally co-developed with Boeing, the Speed Step technology reduces drag across the top of the head to increase club head speed and distance without any extra effort.

To fine tune your launch and spin Callaway have continued to use their excellent OptiFit hosel technology. Allowing you to go up in loft by 2° and down by 1° with the options of neutral, draw or upright face angles.
