Derk is assisted by his caddy, Leonard, and the ever-popular Boom Boom La Rue.


Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius 

Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius is a 2004 biographical drama film based Based on the real-life story of golf legend Bobby Jones, the only player in the sport to win all four of the men’s major golf championships in a single season. 

The film is an inspirational ride of a naturally gifted golfer in the history of the game. Battling a disabling illness and a volcanic temper, Jones struggled through a succession of early defeats to reach the pinnacle of his sport – becoming, at age 28, the only man ever to win the coveted Grand Slam of golf.


Happy Gilmore 

In Happy Gilmore, Adam Sandler plays the title character, a raw, determined, but ultimately untalented hockey player who keeps trying out for the pros. 

Happy, a raucous hockey player turned golfer, sends the sedate sport into overdrive after he becomes a media sensation with his outlandish antics on the links. It’s par for the course entertainment co-starring Christopher McDonald, Carl Weathers, and Kevin Nealon.


The Legend of Bagger Vance

The story of this movie revolves around a disillusioned war veteran, Capt. Rannulph Junah (Matt Damon), reluctantly agrees to play a game of golf. He finds the game futile until his caddy, Bagger Vance (Will Smith), teaches him the secret of the authentic golf stroke which turns out also to be the secret to mastering any challenge and finding meaning in life. 

Directed by Robert Redford, the film starring Will Smith, Matt Damon, and Charlize Theron in key roles. 


Caddyshack
