1. Jeev Milkha Singh


Jeev Milkha Singh is one of the biggest names in the history of Indian golf. Born in the year 1971, he is the son of the legendary athlete, Milkha Singh.

In 2007, Jeev had been honored with the Padma Shri award from the government of India for his magnificent contribution to sports. He has been remarkable in his sport since he started playing professionally.

He made it on the list of Top 100 golfers in the owgr (official world golf ranking) in 2006. The legendary golfer is the only Indian golfer to have a tournament named after him (Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational).

2.Arjun Atwal


Arjun Atwal is one of the finest golfers we have in the country. He was born in the year 1973 and developed a passion for golf since his childhood.

Arjun is the first Indian to play in the U. S PG Tour, and after taking part in this tournament; he started getting nationwide recognition. Atwal was the second golfer behind Jeev Milkha Singh to earn membership of the European Tour.

Jyoti Randhawa, the famous golfer from Gurugram, after winning the sub-junior title in 1986, Jyoti became obsessed with golf, and that’s where the journey of the golfing star started.

Randhawa turned professional in 1994 and now holds many achievements in his bag. However, because of inactivity, he is now ranked 1520 in the world.

4.   Anirban Lahiri


Anirban
Lahiri, the well-known golfer was born in 1987. He turned towards professional
golfing in 2007 and was a part of the Asian tour in 2008.

Anirban is a star player and was honored with the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2014 for his magnificent contribution to golf. Lahiri is one of the best golfers in India and currently ranked 308 in the world.

Shubhankar Sharma is the young and talented golfer from Jhansi and trained in Chandigarh under the famous golf coach, Jesse Grewal. Although, he is still in his initial years on the international level, but proves himself with his superb game technique and is ready to become the next big thing for India in Golf.

The 23-years old is the youngest golfer to win the prestigious “Arjuna Award” in Sept. 2018. Shubhankar is a top player and now joins the best golfers Jeev Milkha Singh, Arjun Atwal, Jyoti Randhawa, and Anirban Lahiri as Indian, who have won the Order of Merit as the top-earning professional on the Asian Tour.

The Talented player is currently the highest-ranked Indian golfer in the owgr standings (as on Oct 2019).
