SIM versus SIM2
Last year's SIM features sliding weight technology that allows up to 20 yards of the draw or fades bias, simply by moving the 10g weight into the desired position, and was TaylorMade's low spinning model that really only suited the better player who places a premium on adjustability and control.
The reconstructed SIM2 delivers high MOI properties with a heavy 16g steel weight positioned on the Inertia Generator. The driver suits players of all skill levels.

The SIM2 driver is available in (8), (9), and (10.5) degrees of loft. Stock shafts include the Mitsubishi Tensei AV RAW Blue 60 and Project X HZRDUS Smoke RDX Black 70.

The Senior Max model was designed to offer mid-spin to the ball, and as far as the speed and accuracy are concerned, the SIM MAX offers better ball speed and better accuracy.

SIM Max D versus SIM2 Max D
The SIM Max D is engineered to help golfers avoid the right side of the course by a strategically placed heel-bias internal weight, and divergent topline masking, which makes the driver look more open at the address helping golfers close the face at impact.
SIM2 Max D
The all-new SIM2 Max D features a repositioned Inertia Generator that’s closer to the heel, encouraging a heel CG that’s low and back for more forgiveness – designed to deliver a higher launch with the largest, most forgiving face in the SIM2 line-up.

The Final Words
For 2021, TaylorMade has retained the head shape that worked so well but reinvented the way it is constructed. They believe the new materials and design tweaks enable them to deliver fantastic clubhead speeds while offering greater forgiveness.
