ZoZo Championship 2019: Tiger Woods makes his 2019-20 PGA Tour debut

The PGA Tour's first official event in Japan is going to start this week at the inaugural ZOZO Championship.
The field is set to tee up on Thursday including Tiger Woods, current FedEx Cup champion Rory McIlroy and last week’s PGA CJ Cup champions Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth.
31 golfers, from the top 50 in the world rankings, were all set to play at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Chiba, Japan.
Tiger Woods, known to be as a legend of golf, rarely plays fall PGA Tour events, but this event is an exception as the 15-time major champion makes his PGA Tour 2019-20 debut at the Zozo Championship in Japan.
Tiger is playing for the first time after his arthroscopic surgery for the fifth time in his left knee.
Rory McIlroy, who is currently the 2nd ranked player in the world will also mark their 2019-20 season debut with this event.
The 78-men golfer field will be playing for 500 FedEx Cup points. Also, a $9.75 million purse is up for grabs. This event will be played at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Chiba, Japan.
