Shubhankar Sharma rides a roller-coaster in 3rd round, lies 52nd

Shubhankar Sharma, the only Indian left at the event, carded 1-under 71 in the third round to keep himself charged for the final day competition at the British Masters.
Sharma, who posted 73 on the first day, added back-to-back 71 to find solo 52nd position after the third round at the European Tour’s €1,850,000 prize money event.
The 24-year-old Sharma had four birdies against three bogeys in his round of 1-under71.
Eddie Pepperell of England birdied the final hole to claim the solo lead heading into the final round of the British Masters being played at The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield, England.

The English golfer shot a second straight 4-under 68 to jump to 10 under par and emerge from a logjam at the top of the leaderboard.
World No. 45 Robert MacIntyre and fellow Scotsman Calum Hill are further shot back on nine-under, along with Adrian Meronk, Dean Burmester, Guido Migliozzi, and Edoardo Molinari.
The other three Indians playing at the British Masters missed the cut at the halfway stage.
Ajeetesh Sandhu missed by one shot after rounds of 74-72, while the veteran SSP Chawrasia (75-76) and Gaganjeet Bhullar (77-76) had a forgettable week.
