Review: Titleist TSi1 & TSi4 drivers

Titleist has added to its remarkable line-up for 2021 with two new drivers in the tour-preferred TSi4 model and the TSi1, designed for players with a moderate swing speed.

These latest drivers are made with new face construction that has previously never been used in golf and helps produce the longest, straightest, best-looking, and best-sounding Titleist drivers ever.

So, without wasting much time, let's quickly discuss what these drivers are all about.

TSi1

The TSi1 range as a whole comes with an ultra-lightweight construction which is designed for golfers with a moderate swing speed - less than 90 mph - who seek a little more club and ball speed.

The brand new model from Titleist is a high launching with mid spin and is the most draw-biased Titleist driver through CG positioning.

It comes in 9, 10, and 12 degrees for right-handed golfers and 10 degrees only for left-handed golfers.

TSi4

The TSi4 model is the most workable of the TSi drivers, thanks to a small, pear-shaped 430cc head with an improved sound and feel. TSi4 has been engineered to reduce drag by up to 6 percent compared to the TS4, encouraging faster clubhead speed which in turn produces more ball speed and distance.

The driver is designed for golfers looking for ultra-low spin combined with the same ball speed and distance gains provided by the TSi2 and TSi3, which have been the PGA Tour's most popular models this season.

The driver features Titleist's SureFit hosel with 16 different loft/lie settings, along with headweight adjustability to create a more consistent and optimized ball flight.

It is available in lofts of 8, 9, and 10 degrees in right-handed, and 9 degrees only in left-handed.

Which TSi driver is right for you?

The TSi1 driver has been engineered for the moderate (less than 90 mph) swing speed player seeking increased club and ball speed with control off the tee and from the fairway. The moderate swing speed player represents approximately 30 percent of all golfers, making the TSi1 metals an important offering to maximize their performance.

TSi4 driver provide golfers seeking ultra-low spin performance with the advanced speed and distance gains that have made Titleist TSi2 and TSi3 the most played driver models this season on the PGA Tour.

The Final Words

All Titleist TSi drivers push the boundaries of speed through advanced engineering and material breakthroughs.

The TSi4 is an ultra-low spin, 430cc, high-speed distance machine, while the TSi1 helps maximize launch and distance for those of you who really struggle to generate a lot of clubhead speed.
