Pranavi Urs claims the second leg of Hero WPGT 2021
Pranavi Urs edges past overnight leader Hitaashee Bakshi to seal a sensational victory in the second leg of Hero women’s professional golf tour 2021.
The talented young golfer smashed a four-under 212 to claim her second professional title at the TNGF Cosmo Golf Course on Friday.
The first pro title for Pranavi came in February 2020, and last week she was runner-up to Ridhima Dilawari.
Hitaashee Bakshi, the overnight leader, fired 1-over 73 in the final round to find the second spot at the leaderboard.
Leg-1 winner Ridhima Dilawari shot a one-under 71 on the final day to claim the third spot with an overall total of 1-under 215.
Among the other prominent names, Jahanvi Bakshi (72) was fourth at even-par 216, Neha Tripathi (69), and Oviya Reddi (74) shared Tied-fifth position at two-over 218.
Amandeep Drall, who was the leader of the Order of Merit in 2020, finished her campaign at 9th position, and veteran Vani Kapoor secured the T-10th spot with an overall score of 5-over 221 in the second leg.
