The veteran M Dharma and the local lad Anshul Patel takes the first-round lead at the best nine-hole course in the world title-holder Glade one resort on Tuesday.

Dharma and Patel shot three-under-33 over nine holes to take the first-round lead at the inaugural Glade One Masters.

Anshul Patel, who turned professional last year, shot birdies on the third, sixth, and eighth to sit atop the leaderboard with M Dharma after the end of day one.

Anshul said, “I’ve been playing at Glade One Golf Resort for the last one month to prepare for this event and that helped me adapt well to the conditions here during round one. You need to know where to place it on this course and you cannot attack all through your round.

PGTI’s last event champion Chikkarangappa S shot one-under-35 to be placed tied ninth, along with other stars Ajeetesh Sandhu, Karandeep Kochhar, and Viraj Madappa.

The highest-ranked Indian Golfer in the OWGR Udayan Mane shot one-over-37 to find tied 50th position.
