Jahanvi Bakshi wins seventh leg of WPGT by a single shot

Jahanvi Bakshi won the seventh leg of Hero Women's professional golf tour by beating Avani Prashanth by one stroke on Friday.

The talented young golfer Jahanvi shot 1-over 217 in three days to claim her second title on the professional tour.

Avani Prashanth, who was going neck to neck with Jahanvi through 17 holes, shot a bogey on the last hole, while Jahanvi made par to win the title.

The first-round co-leader Sneha Singh finished third at 3-over 219, whereas the fourth leg winner Seher Atwal ended her campaign at solo fourth with a total score of 4-over 220.

Aditi Ashok carded a modest 1-over 73 in the second round to easily make the cut at the Creekhoue Ladies Open.

Aditi made one birdie and two bogeys in her second round to claim tied-32nd at the halfway stage of the Ladies European Tour's event.

Tvesa Malik, who was the best-placed Indian after the first round, missed the cut after having a disastrous round of 7-over 79.

Astha Madan (24-over 168), the third Indian in the event, also made an early exit after playing another deplorable tournament.
