Arjun Atwal's historical win to earn 1st PGA title
Arjun Atwal counts down his greatest game of golf in the US at the PGA Tour and becomes the first Indian to win at any PGA event.
In 2010’s Wyndham Championship, Arjun started his campaign with a breathtaking 9-under-par (61) in a tough course of Sedgefield Country Club to take the first-round lead. He continued to maintain his lead and entered the final 18 holes with 3 strokes ahead from his competitors, but in between the final day, he along with six others shared the best score. However, that was Atwal’s tournament and as long as he realizes he quickly ties his shoes and move ahead with positive intent, and shot par on his final shot to claim the first PGA Tour title for him and for India.
