Anirban Lahiri regains his PGA Tour Card

Anirban Lahiri retained his PGA Tour card after a solid performance at Korn Ferry Cup 2019.

One of India’s finest golfer, Anirban Lahiri reclaims his PGA Tour Card after securing a tied fifth position at Korn Ferry Tour’s Albertsons Boise Open on this Sunday.
After the first two birdies on the second and third holes,
Lahiri, then made 12 pars in a row and birdies on the 16th, 17th and
18th, to finish three strokes behind the winner of Albertsons Boise Open,
Matthew Nesmith.
Lahiri lost his card earlier this year after finishing at 178th position in the FedEx Cup standings. But a superb finish of 16-under 268 gives him a reason to joy, as with this great performance he reclaims his PGA Tour card for the season 2019-20.

Anirban had secured
tied seventh position last week at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital
Championship - a golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour.
In his first two occurrences on the Korn Ferry Tour, Anirban has collected a total of 358 points and settled at a seventh position on the Korn Ferry Tour Finals Points List with one event still left to play.
His performance in the past two weeks gave him much needed confidence. Now, the 32-year old Lahiri is in good form and aiming for a victory in the final tournament, the Korn Ferry championship.
