Aditi Ashok shoots 2-under in third round at LA Open

Star Indian golfer Aditi Ashok carded two-under 69 to take the 27th position after the third round in the LA Open on Friday.

Aditi, the only Indian golfer who is having playing rights on the world's biggest Tour for ladies, is currently at three-under 210 and Tied-27th after 54 holes at the LPGA's prestigious event.

The 23-year-old Bengalurean had four birdies against two bogeys and parred the remaining 12 holes to stand inside top-30 at the leaderboard.

Despite the windy weather at the Riviera Country Club in California, the 2016 Rio Olympian played consistently throughout the day to keep herself in contention for a top-10 finish.

Jessica Korda again played a spectacular game of golf to hold onto the lead in the HUGEL Air Premia LA Open.

Korda shot a 3-under 68 to break the tournament 54-hole record at 16 under. She opened the week with a tournament record of 64 added 65 in the second to break the 36-hole scoring record at 13 under.

The second place was grabbed by the South-Korean golfer Jin Young Ko. She smashed nine birdies against five bogeys to lie one off the lead at the $1,500,000 event.
