This win has come as an upgrade to her near gold miss at the last Deaflympics in 2017 when golf was first introduced at the Deaflympics.

Diksha turned pro in 2019 & since then has shown tremendous form on the Ladies European Tour. Her first professional win came in 2019 at Cape Town, South Africa and is currently ranked 52nd in the LET Race to Costa del Sol rankings. It’s a moment of immense pride for an Indian golfer because international wins like these influence a lot of Indians to pick up golf as a sport and introduce their children to the sport as well.
