Hitaashee Bakshi fires flawless 65 to grab second-round lead at sixth leg of Hero WPGT

Hitaashee Bakshi posted a splendid 7-under 65 in the second round to grab a one-shot at the sixth leg of Hero WPGT.
The third leg winner Hitaashee, who started her sixth leg journey with a decent 2-under 70, added a solid 65 in round two to edge past Gaurika Bishnoi and claim a top spot heading into the final round.
Gaurika Bishnoi, the overnight leader, faced a bit dull day at work as she only managed to post a modest 1- under 71 in round two, but her day one 65 helped the two-time WPGT Order of Merit winner to remain in contention.
The Bengaluru-based Durga Nittur occupy solo-third place after carding 4-under 140 in two days.

While two-time winner in five events this season, Pranavi Urs witnessed a roller-coaster round as she carded 1- over 73 to be at tied-4th alongside Neha Tripathi and Jahanvi Bakshi.
Hitaashee had a completely error-free second round, in which she smashed seven birdies to score 7-under 65.
Gaurika, on the other hand, couldn’t manage to retain the lead, and after hitting three birdies against two bogeys she was in the second position.
Heena Kang, with a round of 74-69, took the honour of best-placed amateur on the leaderboard after 36 holes. She was at tied-seventh.
Nine golfers, including Anisha Aggarwal, who smashed a brilliant eagle on the par-5 11th hole, missed the cut.
