Gaganjeet Bhullar finishes tied-16th at the Kenya Open

The man in form Gaganjeet Bhullar finished an impressive tied-16th at the Magical Kenya Open golf tournament on Sunday.

The 32-year-old played steady rounds of 66-72-69-65 to finish at a twelve-under 272 and came within a whisker of a top-15 finish. Bhullar was the best of the three Indian finishers in the €1,000,000 prize money event of the European Tour.

Bhullar, a one-time winner on the European Tour, finished his campaign at tied-16th position alongwith seven others at a total of 12-under 272.

The Indian, who was the runner-up at the Qatar Masters last week, smashed five birdies, one eagle, and one bogey in his final round of 65 to finish inside top-20 at Kenya Open and keep his chances alive to qualify for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.

The other two Indians playing at the event, Shubhankar Sharma (73-70) and SSP Chawrasia (74-72), missed the halfway cut once again.
