Amandeep Drall wins 5th leg of Hero WPGT by two shots

Amandeep Drall carded a solid 3-under 69 in the final round to secure yet another WPGT title.
Amandeep had a gloomy 5-over 77 in the second round after a good 3-under in the first but came back with a scorching 3-under 69 on the last day to win the fifth leg of Hero WPGT by two shots.
2-time WPGT winner in five events this season, Pranavi Urs took the honours of shooting the best round of the day.
Pranavi's five-under 67 at the DLF Golf & Country Club in Gurugram drew a lot of attention on the final day.

Mysore-based Pranavi had a not so pleasant two days at work as she only managed to card 6-over 150 in first two days.
However, on the last day, the young Pranavi defied all odds and finished runner-up with a 5-under 67.
Amandeep, the winner of the Hero Order of Merit for 2020-21, had a roller-coaster first nine holes in which she mixed three birdies with three bogeys to end the opening nine holes at even par 36.
But on the back-nine, she smashed four birdies against a single bogey to clinch a comfortable two-shot victory.
Jahanvi Bakshi, who turned professional in 2020 and since then has won the 4-WPGT title, had a so-so event, as with rounds of 72-75-73, she ended her run at third place.
Pranavi continues to lead the leader board despite her runner-up finish, with Jahanvi in second and Gaurika in third.
